šŸ‘‹Hi there,
Thought about you at the grocery store. Aisle 21 to be exact.

Sounds crazy. But standing in front of all these options, it hit me:
This is your life (and mine) in 2024.

We have so many options. And so little time.

This never-ending aisle of tomato sauces represents:

Choosing your career. A partner. Netflix movie. What to do on a random Saturday.

(Definitely donā€™t spend it in Aisle 21 šŸ˜‚)

So, what happens?

We stand there dreaming about the perfect sauceā€¦for the perfect dinner, for the perfectā€¦

Only to miss out on real life. You know that life, right?

Yep, itā€™s imperfect. Messy. Some amazing ā€˜highsā€™ and tough ā€˜lows.ā€™

But guess what?

Itā€™s (way) better than putting your life on pause for some fantasy in the future.

So, the lesson from this insight?

This week, I invite you to pick a sauce. Any sauce

And spend less time stressing and more time relaxing with a simple bowl of pasta.

šŸŽ¾Soā€¦.Iā€™ve dropped the ball

Iā€™ve been meaning to write you. Really have.

Iā€™ve been working on our new Swipe Less, Live More micro-challenge for young professionalsā€¦

And we are also piloting it to colleges and businesses, which is crazy exciting (and a little nerve-wrecking.)

(P.S. if you have any connections to higher-ed, Iā€™d love to hear it. Just reply back.)

But youā€™re still here. And thatā€™s all that matters.

So if youā€™ve ever read one wordā€¦.

I want to thank you for being part of this journey (and community.)

Some days I am crazy confident that we will help people feel less lonely and more hopeful. Some days, I worry that I won't be able to financially sustain this long enough.

But I know that I couldnā€™tā€”and wouldnā€™tā€”do it without you.

šŸ¤”Quote to make you think

ā€œThe key question to keep asking is: are you spending your time on the right things? Because time is all you have. ā€ ā€• Randy Pausch, The Last Lecture

(Impactful little book. Randy had terminal cancer and knew he had one last lecture to deliver his students. You can find the full video of the lecture. Might make you cry šŸ˜)
